Rick Dacey, (Organfailure on BS) who is the defending champ in this event is still in. Go my 10%!

Isn"t he now a pro ?

No, he"s gone freelance as a writer, also a bad beat trader on the side.

1BADCALLTOOMANY4ME takes a big pot by putting out a min bet with top pair.

We have just lost M0rethanluck who raised to 3xBB with 88. ZZZZ goes over the top with AK and MTL calls.

A on flop, K on turn, blank river, MTL out in 4th.

GG and congrats to M0rethanluck!

We"re now heads up.

racAA having connected with his A on the flop check raises All In with Ac6c on the Ah Th 8h board. 1badcall shows Td Qh for 4 to the flush and the board runs out 2h Jh.

VWP racAA and congrats on 3rd place.

ZZZZ enters heads up with 611k against 1badcall"s 419k.

Cheers Neil.  One of those nights when I couldn"t win a coin flip and also managed to lose small blind v big blind twice when I had AK and AJ to his A3 both times - he hit two pair both times!
Enjoyed the game with some excellent play all round.
Good luck to the last three. :"(

It"s all over!

Final hand saw ZZZ flop top pair with his J5 but with Q4 in his hand and two fours on the board, 1BADCALL2MANY4ME shoves and gets the call he"s desperate for!

VWP both of you. Congratulations to ZZZZZZROPE on his 2nd place finish and ...

CONGRATULATIONS to 1BADCALL2MANY4ME - our new APAT WCOAP MAIN EVENT CHAMPION!

Thanks very much Leigh and Brendan for the above and to anyone else who I have forgotten who gave me a cheer. Its funny how things work out I only just made the tournament after rushing back from the poker player magazine tournament in Brighton where I just about made the top half.

Best of luck to all Apaters over the close season (well for apat anyway). And look forward to seeing you in season 3.

All the best

chris is going strong tonight after missin first level and takin 20min dinner break lol!

Yeah in the tournament late and then I was FORCED to take a dinner break by my girlfriend & watch Eastenders with her, lol. So 30 mins after leaving table as big stack I returned as average/small stack... I can"t complain though, got lucky twice but other than that I"m happy with how I played up until my push - just thought that Rick Dacey was at it, he was raising every time and the one time I decide to take a stand (with average at best holdings) he"s got me beat.

Ah well I really enjoyed it anyway, only my second proper APAT event if you don"t count online qualifiers. Thanks to Billy, Neil (LukyBugger/G3LBOY) and the others railing right to the end!

Oh and Des - ok i"ll admit Blue Square isn"t as bad as I claimed it was. I probably wont play there as much as other places but i"ll say it"s my third favourite poker site! Sky Poker though - still not convinced...  :D
