having only 6 big blinds left behind having posted the BB for this hand, there is no way I"m just flat calling the raise preflop...... it"s either got to be a shove or fold preflop.

I think he"s wrong calling you a fish in that situation.  Not enough of a raise from him for you to fold.  A sort of any two cards call.

His small raise in early position begs action, and when he gets it he moans and witters ?

You"re not the fish.....

he is an idiot! players that want action then moan when they are beat..and that fact that he said that probably means he knows he was wrong but didnt want to admit it... can guarantee he is a losing player with that attitude! :D

With you stack this a fold pre flop.

You both playe dthe hand pretty poorly to be brutally honest. He should be shoving in this spot

Raise to small.Should have shoved bearing the state of play. Then cant complain when you hit a cheap flop.

No worries- most of the time this is a losing play but it isn"t any TOO horrendous- as someone said earlier he shouldnt mini raising if he doesnt want the BB calling with trash

Not sure why he"s only making it 2,000 when he"s so short.  His hand isn"t so strong that he should be messing about with girly raises.  I"d have shoved in his case and in your case facing the min raise I"d fold or shove it all it.  Hard to fold post-flop when you"ve committed 2,000 of your remaining 6,900.  I think I"d have folded and hoped for a better spot to get my remaining stack in before I bleed away.

It"s a bit daft of him really to tease you into playing the pot and then have a whinge cause you did what he wanted you to do.

Depends on if its online, live, buy in level? etc

I would hazard a guess towards him being a fish because he lost the hand!!
