The APAT Irish Amateur Poker Championship (NLHE) €100+€20 will run alongside the IPO Dublin and take place in The Regency Hotel, Health Club and Spa over two days Sunday 30th and Monday 31st October 2016.
The Irish Amateur Poker Championship is scheduled to start on Sunday 30th at 2:00pm and return on Monday for a 12:00 noon start and play to completion which is expected around 10pm.
As in 2015, changes will be made to the "normal" APAT structure which we consider will be both attractive to the local player base and also aid the timely completion of the event within the allocated time frame.
The "normal" APAT starting stack will increase from 15k to 20k.
Alongside the APAT Irish Amateur Poker Championship, and the IPO Dublin Main Event, there are numerous side events over the weekend - both NLHE and PLO, including an APAT "Destination Vegas" NLHE event being held on Monday 31st at 3pm where 1 DESTINATION VEGAS 2017 PACKAGE IS GUARANTEED. This Irish Championship does not facilitate deals, and the Destination Vegas event does not allow deals for the "Vegas Package", but they may be considered for any "additional" cash winnings.
There will be 24/7 NLHE and PLO cash tables.
The Irish Championship will attract Season 10 Ranking Leaderboard Points for the Top 18 finishers, and the Destination Vegas event for the Top 5 players, and the top ranked player on the APAT S10 leaderboard at the end will win a "Destination Vegas" package and travel to Las Vegas in June 2017. You can view the up-to-date POTY Leaderboard
HERE In addition to the prizepool, which is estimated at €30,000, APAT coveted National Championship Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded, and the Irish Champion will also win the ADDED VALUE of a "Destination Vegas" package and travel to Las Vegas in June 2017 with other APAT Champions/Vegas winners.
For those holding APAT/Grosvenor £82 tokens, these can be used "on the day" to contribute towards the €100+€20 full entry fee, or towards the "Destination Vegas" side event on Monday... please see "Irish Tom" on the day to use this facility.
