You've completely left me out of this one John 😣.  I have Johnson, Negreanu,  mercier and Glaser..🖒

You've got enough points already.

Actually you have got the points - it's me hiding too many print rows again. Fixed the post now.

Just realised we are this far in and I haven't posted a single picture of Safiya Umerova yet.

I do apologise. It won't happen again.

Here she is playing #47.

Who needs modern technology?

The media room looks more like something from the early days of the WSOP than the multi-media electronic age:

TEN GOLIATH SEATS ADDED TO WSOP MAIN EVENT

If I told you that Grosvenor has added a Goliath seat for the best performance on Staker in the WSOP Main Event, you would say that was pretty neat and worth a try. Well they have added TEN seats - one each for the TEN most profitable stakers in the WSOP Main Event!

This is in addition to the prizes already advertised.

There is no entry fee - you just have to click a few buttons for a chance of a free seat in the biggest tournament of the year.

The Main starts on Saturday and is already available on Staker. And there is still time to stake players in these last few events:

05 July: #67 - $25,000 PLO
06 July: #68 - $3,000 No Limit Holdem
07 July: #70 - $1,000 Ladies No Limit Holdem

John,

I think you've made a typo above.  You've said Grosvenor have added 10 Goliath Seats to the Staker WSOP Main Event leaderboard.

That can't be right, can it ?

I know, you wouldn't think so. Not only that, but there are no restrictions on who can win them, and only the Main Event counts, so someone who didn't get around to having a go at Staker so far could easily just come straight in and win one.

The Romanians are coming - not just coming, they are here, about to take over. They have broken through here with their first bracelet, but it must be just the first of many. There were four of them in the top 32 of this event with two on the final table - Papazian and Vlad Darie. Darie finished 6th in #37 and 6th in this.

Vornicu (centre), Papazian (right) and other Romanians

Papazian has a highly impressive resume, including a €1.2m result for winning an EPT High Roller. What about Valentin Vornicu - 23rd in the Main Event and many cashes, including 9 WSOP Circuit rings? Most people would have assumed that he would be the first Romanian to clinch a bracelet, but Papazian has got there first. His heads-up opponent, Kilian Kramer, simultaneously cashed in #61, the Online event, while playing this.

After this, I expect the Romanians to win every event in 2018.

How many of these will win bracelets next year?

Finishing 30th in last year's WSOP $888 Crazy Eights, out of more than 6,700 entrants, was David Dao. One or two hands going differently and he might have ended up as the bracelet-winner. His biggest poker cash was when he got to heads-up for a WSOP Circuit ring, which was worth $118k to him.

Since then, he has gone on to cash for a lot more heads-up against United Airlines.

Just tried doing it myself - didn't have any problem. Maybe try again and let us know how it goes?
