Dutch Team
« on: October 31, 2008, 21:49:03 PM »
Unfortunately we"ve had confirmation today that the Dutch team have had to withdraw from tomorrow"s event due to unforeseen circumstances.

Single and multi table tournament matches will be largely unaffected by the withdrawal, but it does mean that Germany and France will each receive a walkover in heads up matches 10 & 13.  The overall prize pool will also be lower by £400.

It is rumoured that the dutch team have managed to bribe the customs officials this year and might just make it through customs with their stash, unlike last year. Anyone care to coroborate this?   ;D ;D ;D

Is there no country that can enter a late team to keep the numbers up?

Alternatively, perhaps a large country (england) with a lot of good players (england) that is hosting the event (england) and who"s name starts with E (england) could field a second team to keep the numbers squared off??

The original post was from last year Steve.  Keep up now, I fear you are falling behind on a number of fronts since being named in the England team ;D
