Massive congratulations to Manchester Poker Club player Brian Martin on his 3rd place in the first of season 3"s Online National Championships, the UK event.

Brian wins $1,180 and a bronze medal.

Brian also has the option to purchase a seat, as per the quote from Des below, at the UK National Championship in Walsall in February.

All three will have an option to purchase an entry to the UK Amateur Poker Championship in Walsall, by contacting customer@apat.com prior to January 15th.

Great performance Brian.

Top work Brian and to Chris Vickers who also cashed and scored a ranking point for a very respectable 18th place.

We"ll let Liverpool and Nottingham beat their chests at each other and we"ll quietly let our results do the talking.

I"m very happy with 2 out of 8 cashing in this and cant say I"m worried about how manchester is going to do when the National league starts on the 1st Feb, especially with a few more top class names yet to register!!

Was really hoping to go, but didnt make it through the clickfest....

...seen as city are at home, I think i"ll not risk heading to Walsall with no gaurentee of a seat, and go to the match instead.

Good Luck to all manchester players... hope to chat to a few of you on-line during the league or meet at an APAT event soon.

Any of you guys play at Manchester "G" or "36" in Stockport?... I usually play at "G" 2-3 times a week, and have recently started playing at "36" a few times a month.....If so I may well know a few of you already!
