I"m guessing it"s a multi-way split by the tone of the post and the doubt surrounding it.

Lookin forward to hearing about it all the same.

Not a big win but a win is a win. Well when I say win I chopped (top 2)

£15 freezout, 10,000 chips, 20 minute blinds, 70 runners, top 9 getting paid

I am not one for giving you actual hands as you all have been there and have the T-shirt to prove it. But I did get lucky on the FT with me being all-in with A7 to be called with A8 for a 7 to fall on the river, but if you are going to win you need a bit of luck.

The game was very loose, which is perfect for my game (very tight) you just had to wait for a big hand, and you got paid. I was 4th when the final table started, but the short stack was only 1 double up away. I played my normal way fold,fold,fold... And then I made my move raising with 4 6, to get a re-raise all-in. By now the blinds were 5k/10k and I had 55k then came the A7 v A8. When down to the final 2, we played for about 20 minutes or so with chips going back and forth before he said about a chop. He had more chips but offered 50/50. The chop never entered my mind as am not used to getting in the money

I am now officially an all round player. (Does making my first cash in the UK make me an all rounder? ::))

Joking aside the game IS realy soft. Out of the 70 players I would say there were about 20 that knew what they were doing and of those only 3 or 4 at APAT standard. Wayne and I being the best of course.  ;)

A win is a win is a win.  Nice one Wayne.

(when I opened the thread I was expecting to see that you"d chopped a STT 8 ways).

Very well done to you Wayne and I hope you take that form into 2009.  You blew away the field in the first half of S1 online, if you achieve half that in S3, you will be extremely well rewarded.
