Time to make my move perhaps
« on: December 31, 2008, 18:15:21 PM »
Hi all, been playing for money for 4 years now (all low buy ins sit and goes etc) and mainly online on stars. I"m up overall and feel I have have a better than average poker game as I seem to hold my own in mtt, stt and cash/ring games. I will play in the wales event this year again, but I do feel I need to play more live. Have played one or two pros over the time and had my arse kicked, but in more recent times I have beat them at their own game. I currently play for fun in the wales poker league, but I do need to go to the casino more. Have a good job in which I earn a bit of bonus, but feel I need to put some cash down in a mtt game to find out where I am. I must admit I enjoy the game and feel great when winning, but I do feel I learn more by losing as I can think about what happened and why even weeks later after the event (alos very polite to everyone I play with, but can dance in the war of words when playing). Don"t get me wrong I"m still human and will continue to make mistakes, rush of blood etc. I feel I can do so much more, but I"m always thinking this. I have also felt playing poker has made me better at my day job, as their is a sales element to it. Just looking for a bit of advice, ideas, I dunno. Whatever comes.

Cheers
