From the Season Three Discussion thread......



Given that the first line of the press release says "Amateur Poker Association & Tour" and that there is no planned event involving pros, have we reverted back to the original branding/name?


Simplistically, yes.  Pros are still very much welcome to join and they will be represented on the APAT Association board which is the current priority after the Season Three launch details are all finalised.  It is extremely likely there will be a professional series in Season Four - whether that is APAT's own pro events or events we endorse and add to our calendar from the existing pro tours.  That may bring about a future change in the sub branding, as S2 did.
