Paul "in the Belly" Turnstill is down to 1,700 after hitting a set of fours against Bob Taylor"s set of eights on the flop.

In answer to various requests from pre-comp, here are chip counts for those I have been asked to follow:

Edward Roger 10,400
Chris Newman 10,500
Kai Thomas 11,000
Jody Thomas 9,000
Robert Swindells 10,000

Also, how many players do we think we"ll bring back from today?...sweepstakes time....

second sweepstake time..how many chips will today"s chip leader end up with?

prizes for the winners....I"ll ask Des to provide!!

27 will be left at the end of today, with the chip leader on 168,000...

Des buys the winner a drink tomorrow... (it might happen)

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

Jane Foster is OUT..raised with  qc qd, back raised by Phu Phan in the SB, all in

She called and confronted   :as: ad

a  9c 7c 6c flop gave her hope but both turn and river blanked

Phu now going well over 20,000

Chris Bailey eliminated Duncan Godfrey with  5h 5s versus  7s 7h on a  :3h: 5d 6c flop, unraised pot. Matt Dale passed  ks 6s to heavy action on the flop, avoiding the  6h that hit the turn that would have caused him all sorts of trouble

Haydn Lyell 24,000
John Jackson 16,000
Adrian Stoyles 16,000

Well, I think that you may well get down to 18 or 19 players tonight if you played the full 14 levels... since I understand the plan is to stop if it gets down to 20, then 20 will be my guess.

Chip leader will have 155000 chips.
