Snow Day!!
« on: February 02, 2009, 07:49:40 AM »
Well I have managed to Wake up this morning to find out that London Transport is Broken and there is no way of me getting into the office today - or risk not being able to get home later should i get in!

So i have Called the office and advised them of such and i now have the day to myself -

Snow Day = Poker Day now!!!

Quality - anyone else unfortunate aough to be stuck indoors all day with nothing to do except keep warm and play poker?

I never go out unless the weather is nice.  We live in Ireland.  Welcome to my world.   ;D

Woke up this morning to a heavy falling of snow everywhere.  Doubt I will be driving anywhere today as I live in the boonies and the roads will be a nightmare.

Snow Day woot!

You just beat me to this thread Robert.  Damn you.   ;D

Southampton is blizzard like.  Last night was a covering of chips at the virtual felt, and this morning is snow covered.

No work for me today (which has actually been the case for the past month  ;D )

So, poker it is.

Good luck all.

Well my day so far includes a decent cup of tea.  Just cooking up some hot sausage sandwiches, before another cup of tea.  Then I"ll be ready I think.

Also gonna enjoy the day with SkySports News on desperation deadline day.

Got to love it.   ;D

One new PC to install, one visit to Spar for a PaySafeCard so I can load up my Stars acc, then I hope to hit the $33 afternoon game that Leigh's been dominating recently.

Snow / Day Poker FTW.

I had the today booked off anyway, due to watching that silly game over the pond last night  :D

Very disappointed to wake up to just 2 inches of snow. When I was a lad, we got real snow in the pennines, not this poxy stuff.

Just checked the weather forecast, more prolonged, heavier falls of the white stuff tonight, wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii  ;D

Get into work about 1/2 hour late to be asked why i didn"t apologise for being late  ???. My boss knows i have to travel a load of b class roads etc.

At the same time an e-mail goes around from London telling everyone not to take risks and stay at home if they are affected by the weather.

Well that is me motivated for another week in the death star  >:(
