Mini Cash session 2

JJ into 986 two clubs ... turn is the hideous 5 ... fearing the 7 ... but I call the bet ... river is the J ... no more clubs for top set ... so I fell the need to call ... vs 77 ... mmm ... could have found the hero fold ... but -$143 for the session ...

Tempted into a late registration on the 888 $35k ... didn"t last very long ... but lead me to the cash tables ... and an epic spin up on a $1/2 table ... $146 to $1065 ... and off to bed ... sweet ... L

Well ahead playing bluff-show-crush when the key hand developed ... playing trash flopped the gut shot ... just about cheap enough to draw on the implied odds ... and the beautiful 4 appeared ... and the top set is crushed for a $888 pot ...

... the other side of the cash coin this morning for -$287 ... could have been a lot worse with the damage starting turn straight vs flush ... but then out kicked throughout the session ... could have made some hero calls ... but I think they were hero folds given the other cards that were shown down ...

Very loose table given Sunday morning and no great play ... just great cards on show ... oh well ... good weekend of cards thus far ...

Session 2 ... and the classic cash hand vs loose fish ...

All is going tremendously well vs the calling station fish ... J4 is soon a monster into JT4 ... I put in a small bet to fill the pot ... he raises ... I shove all in ... he calls with J7 ... and the turn is a 7 ... ding ding ... a $584 pot is heading in the wrong direction ... and I am staring at a -$329 session ... and back to where I started for the weekend ... super spewy call for a decent stack ... I should really re-load and battle it out ... but his number taken for future events ...

Headaches all day ... so only minor poker therapy possible ...

I have found an absurd game on 888 ... $1/$2 ... but you can only bring $10 to the table at a time ...

I am currently in for $70 ... losing every hand with the money in good ... I have $21 remaining ... it is amsuing in the same way as is a fruit machine ...

But my opponent ran away which gave me the perfect chance to semi-gift $110 on a six pack ... floating hands vs obvious strength ... mmm

Betfair $15k - Winner! $3,601

Played okay - won my races - From about 18 out was pretty much in the zone.

Heads Up was epic - at last three hands I could have shove it all in with a pair on the flop - but against monsters which I smalled balled down!

Stayed alive - got lucky with QJ vs A5 - then made a house with J4s on the river ... whilst filling the pot gently chasing the flush ...

What next?

Minor cash losses last night ... and minor gains this morning ... net $67 profit.

Out for dinner tonight ... maybe there is something juicy to find for a 9pm kick off??

Cheers Stu

Another day - and the flip side of the coin playing cash for -$307 - lost every race - Overpair to the board getting river flushed repeatedly ... I could of killed the action of course ...

Will need to find the right MTT for tonight!

Railed the heads up for a bit.  That went on for a while.   :D

Really pleasing to grind it out ... great to have the structure to support it ... on hands played would have been about 4 hours face to face ...

Not getting much love at the cash tables today ... afternoon session for -$101 ... but had an amazing min loss ... with 33 into A35 vs 55 ... who somehow failed to get the money in!?! (Ropey straight draw possible on the river)

Back to the MTTs later I think ...
