... it was 50/50 last night who provided more insight ... Lawro or my mother (who does have eyes - but knows "nothing" about football) ...

I have a little bit of time for Shearer + Hansen ...

Get get the impression that Lineker spends his whole life walking about making/saying puns to himself and chuckling to himself ...

England so need to win the group ... QF vs Spain would be pretty scary ... Gerrard great ball in for the goal ... but running on empty in the second half ... who is going to win and retain the ball??

Fair play to the Swedish goalkeeper for jumping out of the way of Walcott"s shot too!

I like Walcott but super lucky last night ... (albeit Terry unlucky just before) ...

Poker standard - lost to the nut flush playing JTs into Jxx - flush on the turn kills me ...

Golf Bets - Stricker 80/1 - 5 off the lead - looks value - time for one of these to come in ...

Have you watched Jamie Carragher on ITV ?. It"s more Jeremy Kyle than Euro 2012...

Lawro put me on major tilt last night

After Glenn Johnson had played the whole sweden team onside for the first goal then left Mellberg for the second, Lawro commented that Johnson had been England"s best defender.

He then slated Walcott for being a "one game against Croatia" one trick pony, before actually trying to claim credit himself for Walcott turning the game around for England.

But more than that, it was his whiney pessimism that had me reaching for the red button and the marginally (but only just) better "moyles commentary"

... I like to think his brain has a capacity for one unit of information ...

Johnson is a jester in defence - albeit he made some good last ditch tackles ...

Poker - I was 30th from 8000+ going into the money of the big $11 - pretty standard to run better in smaller events!

However $12k+ up top - so time to continue running good ...
