That might not be good for my poker!?!

Just knocked out of the Big $55 - 119th of 2815 - standard race exit - ran best in the smallest tournament of the night ... standard ...

Just out side of the money in the Warm Up - I lose the crucial race and then KJs gets spiked by QTo - frustrating/standard ... ran well earlier ...

Not much new to say ... it"s the epic quest for a big win ... the red bouncing ball ... bounces here there and everywhere ...

... frustrating weekend ... but +c£1k ... which will buy some tickets ...

Nice start with a football treble +£340
Then got into the money in the TCOOP Heads Up - only to lose with the over pair vs top pair plus flush draw.

Main frustration in the Sunday Warm Up where for the second time in four weeks made the last hundred - this time finishing 76th of 3559.

Played well ran out of cards - getting dominated by a micro stack QT vs AQ (would have paid for a few more laps) - then shoving 12BB with KJ late position into AK - no help with either and out.

A few marginal spots before - and gutted to be moved when I had a player who would min raise my BB then give up unless they smashed the flop ...

Next week I guess ...

Ding dong dell ... the weekend is nearly here ...

Betfair Live London : $500 + 100 (Bounty) + 50 : 20,000 chips 45 minute levels.

Looking forward to it.

Feeling like I might need to sit on my hands for the first few levels.

Last trip to Aspers was +£855 mainly on roulette ... so feeling buoyant.

... perhaps I should stick to "rain man" routlette ... +£350 ... but only playing at the death due to a tedious exit on the last level of the day AQ vs A7 ... played well early on ... before getting punched in the nethers by a rivered straight ... I played it slower than I had to ... but job nearly done if AQ can find a way to hold ... earlier when short and having been hyperactive ... I got no action on AA,AK,AK,AK ... the guy with the chips the card rack who only plays when he has the goods ... it"s fair ... but it"s tedious ... AA fully paid many times ...

Earlier in the day Sam Grafton donked his chips off in record time ... saved me a few in the process ... but all in all another frustrating tournament ...

Not sure what is next ... sleep I guess ...

... Saturday night poker -$116 ...
... Saturday night roulette +£300 ...

Hard to remember when I last played Roulette before the last few weeks - three sessions - +£900, +£300, +£300 - clearly I should never play it again.

Long strings of random numbers - choose your slice of them "carefully".

The more I play poker - the more I see "just" a long string of random numbers bobbling around - true you can bad up bad players - but once you have a table of competent players - the variance engulfs the game,

Not just the variance of results once the cards are on their backs - but the match up of hands - at the Betfair Live Event the other day - I was having a happy battle vs two Scandis for the highest VPIP - but the guy with the chips was "just" sitting there waiting for AA and getting paid everytime ... AA vs AK into Kxx and so on ... it"s brutal ... passive is the new agressive and all that ...

Meanwhile with all my bluff and shows ... still no action with AA, AK, AK, AK ... and out AQ vs A7 on the last levle of the night ... spew spew ... Barny McGrew ...

Making a weekend of AQ losses ... out of the Warm Up called by JTs ... weird call for 15BB ... I had been playing badly ... too active in its Turbo format (today) ... in the Big $109 ... a simple AQ vs JJ race ... albeit the J was required on the river ...

Back to the Roulette ...

... Roulette went up and down in two mini sessions but I cashed out +£5 in each ...

Just ousted 238th of 5050 in the TCOOP 49 main event - for $1883.34 - last hand QQ into KK - was timing things well before that ... it was nearly $528k up top ... so pretty spewed off ... that the chips went to the card rack who has just miss-clicked a min raise and had to fold to the all in.

Crapshoot really ... but i delivered no beats to get were I was ... (LOL - I did kill a very short stack AJs vs JJ - pot committed)

Let"s see how much of night owl action I can muster whilst I clear my desk.

... my hilarious conqueror ...  finally out in 26th ... for $8,378.60 ... when "he" had left himself with less than 1BB and called two call ins with A6o ... he was versus AA ...

Some savage blows going in at the moment ... A3 > AJ to stay alive ... $15k could be turning into a lot more ...

... 7 way chop ... crazy stuff ...

GadMO - rivers the 3 to win with A3 v AJ to stay alive 15 out - turning a $15k exit into $252k
Kekim1 - Wins KQ vs AJ to stay alive - turning a $42k exit into $289k

Hand before the deal a crazy AA vs JJ after the initial raiser stepped aside ...

Playing for $40k now - but I am off to bed ...

... any given Sunday ... another minor cash in the Warm Up ... 291st of 3693 ... weird tournament lost a chunk QQ vs KK as overpairs ... could have escaped part of the damage ... played the short stack pretty well got lucky with a AQ vs AK chop ... cruised to the money ... then correctly folded 99 vs QQ vs JJ ... but timing everything at this stage and jammed KJ into AJ with the 12bb open shove ...

Will played the UKIPT on London ...

Might sleep until then ...

Standard Sunday (Warm Up) ... 347th of 3735 ... when I lost a AJ vs 88 "flip" (AJ also folded and shown)

Got to win your races ... yawn!

Last night minor cash plus 3 scalps in the $100 g"tee ($320 buy in) shootout.

Before I ran the top pair with gutshot into the made set on the flop ...

So 10 cashes from last 27 on Pokerstars ... but nothing big ...

Betting a bit on John Merrick to win the golf ...

... rare enough that I win a golf bet ... even though I did chop it in half for the play off ...

Hard to believe how skinny the odds are on Bayern Munich vs Arsenal ... but loathed to back the Arsenal for the "value" ...

Anyway my bonkers bet tonight is for Motherwell to draw 3-3 with Dundee United.

Dundee United"s last 19 games in the league 6 wins, 7 draw, 6 defeats - scored 35 conceded 38
All the draws were scored draws including a 3-3 and a 4-4

Motherwell - in their last ten league games 3 have finished 3-2 (2 wins) ... both decent going forward ... neither can defend ... fingers crossed ...
