Mastercraftsman pips Delegator in the 3.45 ... ARRGGHH!

Delegator should have won that - had it won - but Nooooo!

Oh well minor profit on the horses must be welcomed.

Sunshine beckons ... my bid for fitness slightly thwarted by a chocolate orange that crossed my path ... how did it know where I was?

... yes I think you are right ... Terry rolled it in front of me as a test.

Amazing weather here in South Scotland ... beach is only a mile from my house ... so been happily wandering up the coastline.

My bid to get back to zero profit going well ...

AA vs Q8 ... money in at 8xx ... 8 on the river.

Then AQ into Qxx losing to a runner - runner straight & two pairs losing to another runner - runner straight.

All cards on the river - all at the wrong price or all in ...

Right let"s lump into the horses!

On Gallagher in the first at Ascot ... not confident!

If it loses RT +$950.

Another bad beat in the Double Shoot Outs ... A4 vs KT (4 clubs to the flush!)

Horse defeat at Ascot.

In the Double Shoot Outs

Played 5
Heads up 4
Final Table 3
Bad Beats at end 5! (3 on the ticket Bubble!)
Minor Cashes 1 $8.70
Tickets ZERO.

Ding Ding ...

I feel like the the gong player without the gong ...

Louis,

Those stats for DS"s are good.  You just haven"t got the little bit of luck to bag a seat yet.

If you carry on at that level, you will clear up over time.

It"s all about the volume and riding the variance.

Oh, and don"t forget, APAT rebuy tonight.  Go for the rebuy record and take it down.

Just discussing the re-buy which might go down in history ... lots of people might well fancy this as a good route to avoid the clickfest ...

So what is the record ...

Ride the Variance ... aye indeed ... in fairness I have had some luck in the Sunday Warm Ups ... but on balance I have to be behind this year ...

I like the Shootouts ... it will all happen ... in the end!

you"ve only played 5 louis
You only need to win about 1 in 18 to break even. I"m on 1 in 11 at the mo and with a few minor cashes am ROIing at about 80%. with a bit more volume on your part, you should soon see a decent return..

Meanwhile tonight - I play the $5 re-buy to the Scottish APAT event - I wonder how many re-buys can be bought???

Out 88 vs A8 ... it"s a pretty thin re-draw when he hits the ace ...

I spiked A4 vs JJ ... so fair play I guess.

7th for 4.5 seats ...

Clickfest tomorrow ...

RT +$678 plus any winnings.

Clickfest over and entrance to the Scottish Event gained (subject to final confirmation)

Whilst the website final recovered from the national F5 fest I enrolled in the Poker Stars $40k g"tee

1st Break

A bit below Average - 567 left - 135 paid.

Could have been a lot better for my AK jamming into AA - but I could have got away - CHOOSE not to believe.

I think occasionally that is the case - you work it out and push anyway - WICKED CHILD.

Looking forward to the Scottish Event - ideal field size for me having played so much on Betfair in 100-200 runner events ...

A few more cards and a bit more aggression than I received/showed in Walsall ...

Bring it on.

RT +$763

77th of 900 in the $40 g"tee ... a little bit of luck once in the money 77 vs KK ... but soon after AA vs QQ ...

All been said before ... need luck in running in clumps ...
