... it took about the average time ...

Finally came 4th of 35 in the $1k g"tee ... for $128 ... woo!

Won a AJ vs 22 to make the final table ... then ran A4 into 66 ... and had to push K4 into 7T ... which hit the mandatory two pairs ...

RT -$460 with the Betfair $5k g"tee about to start ...

Won on Leicester over Reading ... lucky I guess ... though you got the feeling that Reading would never score.

Betfair appear to have scrapped their $18k g"tee in favour of a $12k version (10 mins levels instead of 15 mins

Pretty poor effort - it is the site where I have had most success - but periodically they persuade you to leave it - really disappointing.

PS - QQ vs AJ ... flop JJx ...

RT -$520 (with Betfair $12k about to start)

Not really keen on the event - but will end by midnight ... or perhaps earlier!

Seems like a long time since I had cards in my hands ...

... let"s see if they are winning ones?

42nd of 171 when I rammed 77 into AA ... sigh ...

Betfair"s bid to turn everything in a crapshoot working a treat ... disappointing ...

Plenty of play in the Aussie Millions sat! Of course, I am biased...

Bit of a quandry for Luton day 2 - big poker weekend either way.

Make it to day with ultra aggressive play and then the crush the field ...

Those sat"s are good ... something which Betfair get right.

In the annoying cannot win a flip mode ... perhaps a bit limpy too ... that"ll teach me for playing the new Betfair $12k

Currently 6th of 12 in Cagey Aussie Millions qualifier (to the $90k final) ...

Walked 12 miles through Sussex today ... how do these things happen?

Ate enough to make sure that I would lose no weight!

RT -$640 (+$510 ticket to Aussie Millions final)

Not sure if I could actually play in it ... but let"s try to win it and deal!

Solid performance ... with a nice overlay.

... and so to bed ...

APAT Sunday - a damp squib for me - no cards - became a bit of a limp monster - hit nothing (had to fold a bit too).

Others did the job for me in terms of winning the title for Edinburgh (I think) ... and allowing me to qualify for the final.

Points were in the bag - but nearest "rival" lost AA vs 99 and JJ vs AJ to same player - volatility wins.

Should be a great match up on Nov 15th ... bring it on.

Playing a crazy $5 re-buy on I-Poker

Middle of the pack of 344 ... have lost to KQ and KJ with my A2 push ... would have moved to 4th ... GRRR!

Earlier AQ vs 77 vs 22 ... to triple up ... so I guess I will have to settle ...

Next up the classic AT vs AT vs 88 ... oops ... or maybe not ... TTxx ...

Just the spinning wheels ofa fruit machine ... go practice for pressing fire ...

Ran out of luck calling K3 with A9 6 six handed ... further calls from TT and A5 ...

K3 won ...

Betfair $12k ... AK vs AK vs 99 ... Kxx ... runner ... runner straight .... classic "crazt coin flip" ... oh well at least it happened early ...

Mega work day tomorrow ...

... then mega cash game on Friday night ...

Saturday ... who knows it is a long time away!

RT +$1125

Home game +£945 (less the late night taxi and dealers costs).

A very strange result as my best starting hand in 6 hours play was TT (which I lost with vs JJ)

Made most of the money with AK, AK, AQ type hands ... two off them missed the flop but opponents were short enough to make the call ... to their auto shove.

Chip accumulation helped by "hero" calls with very little ... and correct folds with flopped top pairs

I am feeling pretty dazed at the moment ... will ponder the rest of the play later ...

RT +$1198

Brain coming back to life ... and a little profit (though could have been more with better value bets) playing cash earlier.

Thinking back to my home game last night - really interesting to play deepstack cash.

£1/2 - 10 players - £4k on the table - makes decisions much more interesting!

I will post a hand on the Academy ... interesting cash vs tournament hand ...
