Super rusty on the General Knowledge but got 33 questions right vs the contestant"s 41 ... (not a great heat!)

The specialised subjects would be another matter ... large time requirement ... so not going to happen anytime soon ...

Aside - I watched Avatar - and not convinced it was worth it"s five stars from Empire.

Great effects - weak story line - 160 mins long - classic tale of slow to start - 3D worth something - but I spend most days in 3D ... albeit not under the Tree of Life nor kicking around with 10 foot tall blue creatures!

As with all such films I find my mind wandering and not sure the blue people really made much use of their tails ...

The evil characters were pretty pathetic and stereotypical which was the major drain on the film.

Day 28 in the gym ... some pretty tough metres on the rowing machine today ... work 10+ hours and go to the gym ... tough effort ... but worth it ...

Man C 2 Man U 1 - pleasing - well poised for the 2nd leg.

... last night ... great fun watching my absurd plays ... I am keen to play ... and have a big home game on Friday but very time pressed ... all this going to the gym is having it"s effect!

In my gym at home I can play whilst I use my cross trainer, but pretty tough on a rowing machine ... weak excuse I know!

An epic day ... of c16 hours "work" ... it was fun really ... oh ... net off an hour for gym ... though blackberry in play ... look forward to tomorrow which is approx 23 mins away ...

Villa 6 Blackburn 4 ... looks like Villa have scored their goals for the next month ... and Arsenal are top ... how did that happen!?!

The funny thing about Arsenal fans is that I often come home in the tube with them and they always look miserable ... even when top of the league, or beating Everton 7-0 ... or whatever the score was!

The only exception I can recall is when Arsenal won the league at Man U ... a noisy night indeed ...

Last 18 days ... 83,321m rowed ... feel great for it ... though no official weigh in as their scales are shot ...

I think for the first time I felt like there was some extra energy there ... GREAT!

Cyntaf - rowing - I am finding it mainly therapeutic - a time to stop thinking and do something physical.

Odd to look forward to the gym - but that is how it has become.

... a few Pilsners last night ... nice beer ... but painful gym action ... getting a little super sleepy now ... a bad sign with poker set to start at 8pm ...

It is the return of the big game ... PL £1/2 ... sit down with £100 ... unlimited re-buys ... well you can top up to £200 once you are down to £50 ...

Last time I managed a hero +£947 ... at my peak I was in for £300 and had £1300 infront of me ... 650 BBs ... interesting times ...

It"s a tough game with no cards ... but a great table and super friendly banter ... usually about 8 players from a pool of 16.

Big Game result ... +£121 (net out dealer/travel/jackpot/curry costs +£31)

Game starts £200 sit down £1/£2 PL ... six handed ... lively table ... I am card dead ... maybe not a bad thing ... debutant is soon in for £600 with AA vs KK, K on flop and I think KK vs QQ, Q on flop ... overpair six handed twice in first 30 mins ... COOLER ... later comers make it 8 handed after about an hour and the the game settles down a bit.

I am drifting up to £400 and back to £200 ... nothing epic ... rest of the table having a jamboree ... it"s nice when a home game becomes familiar ... watch and be patient ... a lot of straddles flying about ... and for the last half hour we make it £2/5 ... last hand the straddles run to £10,£20,£40 ... I have T5 off ... and donate my £20 to the pot which some becomes a monster with QQ vs JJ vs A2 ... we all know who wins that one ... leaving the queen holder at -£1200 for the night ... the A2 scoops the pot of the night for £1k ...

I certainly could have been more aggressively with certain hands but that may have just created a (-600,+600) night ... no obvious weakness ... some strong chat ... great work.
