Well Merchant don"t really do dealer-dealt tables. So, if you fancy there (which may not be necessarily the best place to play - but is my personal preference) then you are gonna have to make-do with self deal. Albeit, on the 4-8 tables that start, you do tend to get a volunteer from each to play dealer. On the rare occasion, it is indeed "high carded" round the table, and if the "cruel hand of fate" picks you out - then tough luck, you are in the hotseat. Although, they do stipulate that you only need to deal for one round of the table. So, in essence is a minimum of 9/10 hands before you can "pass the buck" to the next person for the next "high card". But, if you are that against dealing and you are unfortunate enough to be "high carded" then you can kindly ask and plead your case that you can"t deal for ****. And, again someone will then tend to volunteer, or at worst you prove how inept you are at dealing and then someone will jump in. I mean no-one likes there game slowed down, and nothing worse than a ****e dealer.
At least when it comes to a final table, you will then have a dealer provided by the Casino (normally give him a tenner each if you are lucky enough to cash) for the final table, so everyone is able to concentrate on there own game.
