Irish Championship - Dublin
« on: April 06, 2009, 14:22:11 PM »
Desperate to make this our first APAT live event and hopefully the first of many.  Have played in many APAT on-line events but no live ones as yet so I guess Dublin is as good a place to start as any!

Just really wanted to know what the chances were of getting a seat?  I appreciate the "clickfest" is normally within 5 mins but will this be the case with Ireland?  Are they more or less in demand?

I have entered into the satellites so will hopefully strike some luck in those but if not it"s the direct buy-in.  Any tips for the "clickfest"?  Can you copy and paste details or does it all have to be keyed in?

Advice is much apreciated! :)

See you in Dublin..........hopefully ???...........oh and flights and accommodation already booked...eek!

Good luck on getting a seat.

I would expect this event to sell out in 2 minutes. :o

No secret for the clickfest really.

You can either key or copy and paste the info.

You have to enter your name, address, debit card info etc.

Whichever method suits you to get the info in as quick as possible and click send.   ;D

It should be a 2:30pm start on the Saturday with a 1am finish (approx)

And the Sunday will be a 2:30pm start with a 9pm finish (approx)

Finish times are dependant on play, so a tough one to predict.

Hope that helps.   ;D

A link will appear on the main site www.apat.com tomorrow and will activate at 9.00pm exactly - then it"s fastest finger first

Ctrl+F5 will refresh the page.  You"ll need to do this at around 9pm to see when the link is placed on the page.

Then it"s a case of getting all your details in ASAP.  Make sure you have the card to hand, as you"ll need the numbers off the front and the security number off the back. If you have the added online security thing that asks you for 3 digits from your card password, make sure you know what that is.

Happy clickfesting.
