It is finally here. We fly out at 11.25am tomorrow from Gatwick. We have booked a overnight and parking deal 5 minutes from the airport so will be travelling down tonight. Good news is the bar is open until midnight so the holiday will officially be able to begin.
Can"t wait to get to vegas and hit the tables. I feel my game is as good as it has ever been at the moment, so if I can get a bit of luck along the way it should be a crazy 2 weeks.
APAT legend Simon Auckland is my poker partner during this trip and I am haggling for a 10% stake in his action (absolute no brainer the way he runs), negotiations to take place on the flight.
Looking at the results from Ceasar"s so far the number of runners seems to be way down on last year. Perhaps they are waiting for the dead money to arrive, but I hope there is plenty of action to be had.
No sure about the WSOP. I could play in one of the $1,500 crap shoots but it may be better value to play a deepstack instead (but you can"t win a bracelet or a life changing sum). Will see how the first few days go and then make a decision then.
Will try and update every few days in the usual ThinkerJE style. That being detailed hand analysis, no bad beat stories, general observations of LV and much drooling over the pu$$ycat dancers.
Ok, off to finish packing and then to pick Si up on the way to Gatwick.
Next update will be from Las Vegas!!!
NO BAD BEATS - Las Vegas, still the best place in the entire world!!!
