FML. Money Bubble again (6th) on my 5th FT from 6 games today. That"s four 6th places, a 3rd and a 1st. It"s all good, I think. If I hadn"t won the seat early on tho, I"d be tilting big style by now :)

are you just playing aggro for the win, or are you picking your spots and getting unlucky?

I"m not playing overly aggro - but I am punishing those who check it to me twice and playing my own draws strongly.

Three of my exit / almost exit hands have been bad beats / against draws that have hit (pretty standard) but I"ve got my chips in good in 4 / 6 and once as a 48/52 dog.

*EDIT* And then I play loose reckless into two serial Check>Raisers in my last game for today.

Nah, un-reg from the tourney and it"ll go back into your account as T$. Those T$s can then be used to play most Tourneys (the amount will be taken from T$ balance before Cash balance).

It"s been a while since we updated the stats on our bankroll challenge.

A few people have posted their own stats on here, and it is interesting reading.

Here"s Luky and Chips stats :-

Games Played = 222
Heads Up 1st Table = 89
Final Tables = 59
Minor Cashes = 11
Seats Won = 17

ROI = 52.16%

Yes we are, which is why our ROI overall is less than that for the DS"s.   ;D

I believe it"s commonly known as a leak ?

Work (yeah, I know  ;) ) has been quite hectic for both of us the past few weeks, so poker has been neglected slightly, but plans are in motion to get things motoring again.

You have inspired us all Rob.   :D

Just to add a little more into the mix ;-)

I'd decided a while ago after running bad for sometime..... sry that should read playing bad....  :-[ that I just don't concentrate enough and I play with no goal or purpose....  :-\

My thought now is that playing bigger tourneys like the Sunday Million etc. would help focus my mind ;-)

Now reading your guys thread makes a very good case for playing these DS games but my problem is that if I end up with T$ that I'll just splash them about on any old tourney and not for the purpose I should.

So I may start looking at the Steps games as a Step 4 ticket can be used for a tourney buyin....  but only a $215 tourney thus forcing me to use it for the games I should.

Anyway this weekend I'm busy but if I feel up to it next Sunday I may give this theory a try out.

How can you call that.... you should have bet more...... I was all-in...... well you should have had more to bet.

Since this seems to be the in-thing to do, these are my stats

Games Played = 11
Heads Up = 6
Final Table = 4
Minor Cash = 1
Seats won = 2

Trying to build my bank roll, so have taken the tournament $'s

So, after a low few weeks, we have both had good sessions in the past few days.

We have decided that this is the best way to play these.  Rather than dipping in and out and playing the odd game here or there, play a session of between 5-10 at a time.

It seems to be working so far.

Updated stats :-

Games Played = 278
Heads Up 1st Table = 117 (42%)
Final Tables = 73 (26%)
Minor Cashes = 14 (5%)
Seats Won = 20 (7%)

ROI = 45.67%

Our 1st table HU stats = 62% success rate

The above stats amount to around $920 of combined profit from these $11 Turbo DSs in a little over 8 weeks. Not blistering but given recent "variance" and losing streaks, we"re pretty happy with it.

We"re planning on playing a minimum of 10 a week, hopefully in bursts of 5 a day where possible.
