Thanks for sticking with us folks and I"m glad to say that"s a wrap from Dublin.

Many congratulations to Brian Yates and the other medal and prize money winners on a job very well done.  Lots of pictures and video interviews will follow later tomorrow, so keep an eye out for those.  We leave you with an unusual interview with Andrew Tracey, taken before day two started.  He is with Dawn "Laxie" Dineen, the Captain of the Dublin Team in the APAT National League.

We look forward to seeing some of you in Edinburgh for the Scottish Amateur Poker Championship in July.

Very well played Brian on taking this down.  A very well deserved victory and to win a live and online national championships is an incredible achievement, even more so that it has been achieved in the same season.

The line up for day two, meant we already knew it was going to be a high class final table, whoever made it through, and we certainly were not disappointed.  Especially well done to Brian Murphy and Richard for making the medals.

Yet again, it was another great APAT weekend and another great Dublin weekend.  As always, all the staff at the Fitzwilliam were superb and really entered into the spirit of the weekend and gave it their all, so thank you to all of them.

I think what best sums up the weekend is that when Des and I started the pre-day two interviews, we managed a couple in the cardroom, but then I suggested we might get a few more if we go over the road to the pub instead.  I was proved right, and they are well worth a watch when Des gets then up online.

Well played to everyone involved, and looking forward to Edinburgh already.   ;D

great weekend guys, really enjoyed my first APAT experience. Congrats on those who made the final table and for the casino for doing decent job in running a large field in quite a tight spaced venue - well done.

Can anyone tell me where pictures will be put from the event as when i load the image gallery its a blank page, are they somewhere else on apat?

Thanks,
Chris

First of all, Congrats to Brian on an outstanding victory - It was clear from 3 tables that he was going to win this, he had the cards and hit the flops - it was his day but thats not to take anything away from him, he played very very well and deserved this win.

Secondly, thanks to Des and Co for yet another fantastic tournament. Maybe I will even cash in one of these events one day!! lol (Bad Beat moan..........................................)

:)

I"d just like to put on record a big thanks to Leigh, who worked his socks off yesterday counting chips, calling hands and weighing in with help on the interviews, etc.  APAT couldn"t do what it does without the fantastic support of players like Leigh.  Thanks mate.

Des & Tighty.

Hi All,

Just want to congratulate APAT on a very well run tournament - after crushing my stack to Brian Murphy 88 v QQ on the bubble, was delighted but also crushed to finish 4th, so close to 4 figures and yet so far.

My congratulations to all at the final table, in baticular Brians Yates, Murphy and Richard.

Also, I re-raised blind when I had 82o and I thought I had just enough to take him off the pot - hadn"t done the maths right!
