What do the points go towards?

GUKPT Grand Final.

Is that the Groesvenor final where its a big buy in?
Is that the only way to qualify for it?

I notice that the online satellites for the APAT scottish championship are on the 5th and 6th April(a saturday and sunday). The saturday online qualifier will clash with the live regional qualifiers.

Given that all the other online qualifiers are Sunday and Monday, can we assume that this is an error and that the online qualifiers are on the the 6th and 7th?

I know I"m a saddo for spotting it, but I was filling in my calender (also quite sad)and noticed the clash.

On another note:

Hope the regionals dont become a "queue" fest or even a "camp" fest.

I"ll be bold here and assume that the demand for these regionals has been considered and the scenario of 150 turning up for an 80 seater will not happen. The regs may not be too bothered by an early saturday £20 freezeout and will be still asleep after the friday night cash games. Lets suck it and see.

Fantastic work btw APAT. The work and effort here is greatly appreciated. Can"t wait

Only cos i"m off to Paris on the weekend of the 6th/7th, for the Arc.

That said, I can"t wait for the whole thing to get underway, well done all involved, and an extra special thanks to Blue square for it"s sponsership.

By the way I"ve been playing on Blue sq since their card room started, under the tag of Twignbud.

I read the announcement this morning and had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn"t dreaming. £20 freezeouts at the Grosvenor in Yarmouth and a live Razz tourney. There is a god after all!

Gala Bristol is missing from the options for the Western Region event on 10th Nov.

Is this right or perhaps a clerical error?  :o

Not on this occasion.  Three events have had to be left out of the Regional Championship schedule due to circumstances outside of APAT's control.

They are the first two dates at Dusk Till Dawn (subject to license), as it gears up for launch and the second date at Gala Bristol, which is hosting the GBPT Grand Final that weekend.

Top 10% in any regional event get a £75 seat for a national event.

Are these seats "added" to the £20 x X prize pool or deducted from it?

Good question.

Bump this question... Des seems to have missed it.

The Regional events are acting as satellites into the National events.  the 10% times £75 will come from the prize pool.  The remainder of the prize pool will be awarded to the top 10% of finishers as prize money.
