I"ll keep my $10,000 in my pocket thank you.
I might not win but I"ll have more left than most  ;D

Might not win but think there could be a good chance of you making the top 5 and get an option  ;)

No chance. The rest of us only have to hit one cashing player to be ahead.

Not really. You and a lot of people have 10% of 10 players. If one of them cashes for the minimum you"re only making around the $2,000 mark (the min-cash at the 2008 WSOP was $21230). At 10% stake of a player and having one player cashing, like you said, you would need (basing my calculations on the 2008 payout list) one player to break the top 63 to beat his $10k.

2008 payout:
64th - 72nd =  $96,500
55th - 63rd = $115,800

While spreading your bets accross 10 players gives you a greater chance of having a player make this top 63 in all reality you will either need multiple cashes or one MAJOR cash to beat the $10k that he"s keeping in his pocket. Like someone already said though - there"s no fun in keeping the $10k in your pocket.
Thank you please.

If you ever find yourself bored with $10k in your pocket please let me know.  ;D

One of my horses had a lucky escape in the first level

from Dan Carter"s twitter

"Omg. I run good. Called a raise with T8 after donk in EP makes it 3x. Sb 3bets and EP 4-bets. Flop 88Q and EP had QQ."

Would this not infringe:

Terms

2)  One entry per member. The entry must be in an unmodified post and your first entry will count.

Kind of along these lines imo...

Just wondering - if one of your picks happens to not play in the Main Event do you get the money you have "staked" to them back in your bankroll? Realise it may take too much work to look out EVERY player but if you can prove they"ve not played via some sort of link I mean...

lol, no - sorry!

Harsh I know but it was already after 8pm surely the one free pass has already been used?

go Steve PA!!!
From pokernews:

Wooka Walks
With the action slowly folding round to Wooka Kim in the small blind, she opened with a raise to 700.

Steve Paul-Ambrose made the call from the big blind, and when Kim checked the  flop, he fired out 900.

Kim then made it 3,000 to go before Paul-Ambrose instantly made it 10,000 to put Kim all in. Kim obliged by sliding her last ten yellow 1,000-denomination chips into the pot and the cards were tabled.

Kim:
Paul-Ambrose:

With Paul-Ambrose in bad shape to only a king, or running straight or flush cards, he would hit gin on the turn when it landed the .

Now needing to catch her two-outer to stay alive, Kim would unfortunately only see the  land on the river, and a hasty exit follow.
