Saturday - APAT
Sunday - hopefully day 2 of APT
Monday - regular pub poker league

but i found out last night i"ve also qualified for the local NUTS LEAGUE regional finals which is also a 2 day event in the circus casino in edinburgh

nuts regionalis a split 2 day start (sat/sun with 13.15 star time) with the final on the evening of the 2nd day and lo and behold my start day is also the saturday - luckily with a bit of begging though i managed to get my start changed to day2

now obviously the nuts regionals isnt as prestigous (or talented in most cases) as i expect the APAT to be but should i have a deepstack in the APAT at the start of day 2 then the nuts will be given the elbow, but should i have a short stack, i can see me having to go up to circus, sign up for that tourney at midday ish, rush down to maybury - play that (if im still or even in day2) and then rush up to circus and hopefully have chips to play there

then my monday game - wife aint gonna be best pleased with me

I played the £20+20 game at Circus and caught the end of the Nuts game. It seemed to be a steep game. I did pity the guy on the final table who had 1800 chips and was surrounded by 100k+ stacks though.

I too played the £20+£20 at the Circus - I won"t comment on the standard of play... ok, yes I will... flippin awful!!  Just embarrassed that I donked off so many chips early doors trying to get a calling station to fold his bottom pair.

The £1/£2 cash game that started shortly after my tourney exit was amazing - it was worth missing out on dinner for!! Unbelievably poor standard, and I took £100 to £375 in 4 hours...... but got nowhere near as much success as Paul Mac - in fact for Paul it was sooo good that he couldn"t leave with us to go for a curry - there was just too much money on the table to take at will, and he duly did.

After railing the APAT FT I dropped in to see how the Nuts game was going (I ran it for 2 years so wanted to make sure it was all ok after handing it over) and I must have seen you guys (red T-shirt?) - Paul scooped big on the last hand against the old guy (who donked off all of his stack on the last 2 hands of the game) to pay for his whole weekend I believe  ;)

I couldn"t make the 2nd day at APAT pocket tens lost to ace eight at 11 pm and couldn"t make nuts event as it coincided with a family matter that was overlooked. Gutted as the circus is usually an interesting game
