Well done to Derek, MagicMan David and George.

Particularly pleased for Geo and David as they are regular OfficePoker.net players - well done guys. (Geo"s faked Norman Wisom-esque trip when introduced for the FT was hilarious!).

Good to meet Des, Tighty et al, and also 5kinem and Bigfella.

Cheers for a great weekend.

As always a big thanks to Des and Duffy jnr, Tighty and Leigh (10-6 indeed pfft) hindered assisted by Kinboshi.

I would just like to point out, this was in a Tighty sit n go.  I was a massive chip leader and limped into a pot with any two cards.  Which in this case was 10-6.

The flop came 6 6 T, at which point Geo, shoves all in.

Mary (Who has seen my hand), bursts into laughter behind us both.  The table are then convinced on one of two things.  I"ve either missed it big style, or probably flopped close to the nuts.

After regaining some composure and pondering a bit, I announce "Well, I"m sorta priced into this"

The cards get revealed and everyone is then in on it and I"ve never seen a man so happy to have lost against T 6.

Geo, you are a top man, and you really deserved that medal for a great effort over the weekend.

Tighty Sit n Go"s really should be on the APAT schedule.  Des, season 4 maybe ?

Well played everyone and well done to Tony Trippier for keeping up the BCPC tradition of making the points in APAT events in 2009.

So what you are saying Ger is that Mary was on her phone to update you when the "incident" happened and therefore indirectly you were responsible! I think you should buy us all a drink at the next event as compensation ;D

Well done to all medalists and special congrats to Derek Murdie.
I"m afraid my contribution to the weekend was rather low key, a long, very very heavy driking day on Friday was not the ideal preperation for the event :-\ and  made "Mr Chip" a very dull boy  :-[ My powers of recovery are not what they were!
Thanks to Des and his team for another extremely well organised event

Well played Derek - looks like I fired you up when I ran my  4c :2c: into your  td tc early on and you doubled me up  ;D

You were playing a really solid game on table 6, and didn"t seem to put a foot wrong.

Well done and congratulations
