Can anyone tell me which APAT final table the pic in the WCOAP banner above was taken?  Geek homage awaits...

I think I know, but someone has already posted my answer.

And if I post it again, I"m worried the thread might get deleted.   ;)

Didn"t specify it had to be a venue just final table it was at, otherwise wouldve put Aspers Newcastle

Lol @ Chip!

It was indeed the home of big stack poker, Aspers and the final table of the 2006 UK Amateur Championship. I think we ought to ban the colour up in future APATs... What do you think?

Well done Mary, I just remember the chips from Aspers (how sad is that). Also I didn"t see much of them as I was out well before the dinner break when my  ac ad1 were cracked.  :(

Aspers - The first APAT event that Caz and I took part in. A fantastic event that I have two great memories from...

1. Caz going deep and cashing - a superb performance, especially as it was her first live event in a casino. You wouldn"t believe how proud I was.

2. Ironside (Alistair Fowler) trying to get me to go to a lap dancing venue with him he"d found on the Saturday night. Tsk, he"s such a bad influence.......

As for the chips in use there.....nope, I really don"t remember what they looked like.
