The all-conquering Irish team will be playing in the Team Championship of Poker next weekend. As teams consist of six players, our non-playing captain Len will play and Martin Silke (GUKPT London Champion) has also been roped in.

I haven"t seen too many recognisable names on any of the other teams, apart from Padraig Parkinson, Liam Flood, Marty Smyth, Jude Ainsworth, Paul Leckey, Aidan McAllister, Dara O"Kearney, Fintan Gavin, Lawrence Gosney, Rory Liffey, Don Fagan, Derek Murray, etc, etc. And most of the others seem to have final-tabled big events. Our team is the only one whose players I"ve never heard of. Notwithstanding that, we will bring the trophy to the WCOAP the following weekend for you all to admire and pay your respects.
