If you follow this LINK it will take u to last year"s thread on the UK Team event.  Lots of info there.

As far as I know, the date will be moved to January/February although nothing has been said for a while on it.

Hope that helps.

Is very shortly sooner than soon or is soon sooner that very shortly?  ;)

So the December date isn"t fixed?

If it does change, I"ll have to withdraw from the team I was asked to play for until much nearer the time, as I can"t be sure what"s happening after New Year.

A pity if it does move as it seemed a strange, yet ideal, time to hold the event.

Keep me posted!
2010 World Champion PotLimit Omaha Online - Gold Medal
2010 Irish PLO - Silver medal
2009 Team England - Bronze medal

At this moment, unless there are serious objections from the 16 team captains when appointed, we will proceed with the Christmas week dates as advertised.

Speaking personally, the UK Team Championship was one of my favourites, but 27 December is stretching it too far.  Its Christmas and I have a family and cannot justify leaving them so soon after Santa has been, Im a family person my kids come first.

I do hope it is re-scheduled to a better date, if not I will be unable to attend.

As a member of Team TimeForPoker from last years event, we would still be keen to enter a Team in to the follow up event.

Would be good to be considered for one of the teams taking part again.

How will the participating teams be decided? :)
