Bristol and Southwest Meetup are also keen to play this but a few of the players would rather see a shift in the date to early in the new year due to family commitments.

Whatever is decided, it"d be good to know one way or the other as soon as possible in order to get cheaper hotels and travel.

Fiso would be able to field a team at any time, even Christmas week.  I do think a lot of good and enthusiastic people will be forced to miss out though.  Which isnt really what this event is about surely.

Your Captain ;) Karrde is keen on a date change tbh.  A lot of poker players owe their families bigtime at Christmas ;D

How about a change of date?

I think a change of date would be good too. A lot of players would prefer to stay at home with families during the festive season. Especially those who have to travel some distance and stay over a few nights to participate.

Either way, it would be good to find out how the teams are being chosen this year.

Date is good for me , but there are so many understandably finding that date difficult that I think another time slot should be found.

Northern Poker Stars (Cumbrian-based poker club) would be very interested in attending this event too.

There could even be a very local rivalry; Robbiebox, your team of course!

Could be more fiercely contested than the Old Firm, the Rome derby, and the Mersyside derby combined!

I will look out for updates on this event with great relish.  It would be fantastic to face off against the likes of the Hendon Mod, and to meet some of the APAT members too.

You looking at putting a OfficePoker team in Neil? I would be interested in playing if you are.

Spend some time with the family so that they tolerate the 50 weeks of poker we are about to play once the NYE hangover fades ;)
