Obviously every team from the UK just wants to beat the English.

I"d like to point out that this almost racist hatred within the UK is unidirectional towards the English. when england failed to make the last Football championship finals, I shouted for Scotland (as representatives of the UK).... I can"t imagine too many Scots (or Welsh/Irish) will shout for England when we are the sole representatives at the next World Cup!!
That"s just indicative of the jealousy demonstrated by these small Celtic countries, and a failure to recognise that if it weren"t for England and Great Britain, nobody would ever have heard of them.
If it wasn"t for England, we would be seen on the Olympic stage as B rather than GB.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the very best to the Scots, Welsh, and Irish for this competition.
(after all, our little, insignificant, poorer cousins need all the help they can get!)Now, back to the thread (sorry for hijacking)...... Austria - isn"t that a suburb of Germany?
