Only restrictions are around what the casino will allow.  They are usually okay with photos inside the cardroom.

As far as updating goes, you won"t get better than the live thread on here, but as long as you plaster www.apat.com on your updates, then no problems.  

I"m sure the event will be similar to last years in that there was a real buzz around the poker forums and communities during the weekend for a good while afterwards.

In fact one of the teams in the recent APAT European Team Championship brought their own photographer and did not encounter any objections.
