Still six players on one particular table

Steve Redfern doubles through Luca Cannella of Italy KJ v A9. Also on the table Jason Jones of Wales and Viktoria Szilasi of Hungary

Viktoria Szilasi of Hungary is APAT's reigning "Most Scrabble Points for your name" champion.

Sorry to dissapoint you all but in the Hungarian version of Scrabble the "Z" is only worth 1 Point (it was in our pub quiz recently*)

In the Welsh version however you are awarded FIFTY points for successfully using any vowel  ;D

Esta a semana toda

*The question was actually about Polish Scrabble but a good story-teller never lets the facts get in the way

WD to Yates, Redfearn and Miller. All respectable scores. Nice one

LOL at the subtlety of this quality Blatch rub-down. With friends like these.....  ;)

Plenty of side action in Luton.

Stuart Oliver (Scottish Captain) is currently playing heads up against Daniel Phillips (English Captain), on the heads up machine in the corner of the cardroom.

Will keep you posted.
