Well, what a long weekend that was. Firstly, many thanks to Stu for picking me to represent Scotland in the event. I know that my understanding of and the belief in the Apat ethos was a big factor in Stu"s choice. I was as pleased with my contribution to the team as I was in winning the £100 event.
To all team captains and their team members, a big thanks for making this a memorable weekend, all players really threw themselves into the event and the banter and additional friends made, from all corners of Europe, was immense.
A massive thanks also to Nina, Niall, the dealers and staff at the G casino for hosting such a wonderful couple of events. We all recognise the hard work required to enable these events to work and for me, this was by far the best one I have attended. The exemplary standard of the buffets was also a bonus. Although my ears are still bleeding having had Anthony dealing at a few of my tables
And of course, a huge pat on the back and hearty congratulations to Des, Tighty and Leigh. The team done an immense job over the weekend and I and I"m sure everyone else are extremely grateful and appreciate the endeavours required to produce a top class event such as we have had.
You should all be rightly proud.
