Glenn Wisbey?

The very same.  OK, he may not be a particularly active member but a winner he certainly is.

GL to all APATers - any updates available?

Players are on a dinner break.

There are 102 remaining with average stack at 8,600. (What that means with all the different starting stacks, I don"t know, but starting average was probably around 6-7k)

OUT. Sat around starting stack until table broken halfway through level 2. First hand on new table managed to get all in with middle set against top set. Back home by 5pm :(

Interesting concept with the prize pool - there was a vote with three choices - payout to top 12, 30, or 63. Top63 won the vote..... and with only 120 runners that meant half the field gets paid. Add to that the fact that around 20 didn"t turn up and could not claim any prize, despite their chips being in play and blinded away...... 63 out of 100 runners get paid! (and I still missed - lol)

Unlucky Steve - genuinely tough spot to avoid getting canned.  What a strange allocation of the prize pool, but I love the fact that the players were consulted.

UL steve. Apparantly Set over set happens about 4 times a year if you are playing full time. Anyway it is a strange way of cashing. did every person get to vote on this? With quite a few big names in there, id bet they were dissapointed with the ammount of people getting paid.

there were 81 players sat down at 2pm and eligible to vote. 12 voted for option 1 (top 12), 30 for option 2 (top 30), and 39 voted for option 3 (top 63).

I figured that as the field was so tough, voting for Top63 was the only real +EV option.

I think there"s three of us out but I actually only know Steve out of the players I"ve seen. Sorry. I"m out. Got short staked and got my QQ all in vs up and down straight draw. He makes it on the turn and I have no redraw. :(

Thanks for the opportunity APAT. And good luck to the players who remain.

Edit: The APAT"er I had lunch with had 12.5k at the break but I"m rubbish with names. How rude! :)

Paul.
