Betfair's confusing me
« on: February 19, 2010, 00:53:21 AM »
Right:

Where"s my cashier? Do I have to click "My Account" and go to another webpage everytime I want to check it?

If so, where is their dollar conversion rate because the "Wallet" bit appears to be in £ rather than $?

That is all for now but i"m sure there"ll be more when I actually start playing on it.

Hi Chris,  you do have to go to My Account to check your balance, I just have mines bookmarked on my bookmark toolbar for ease of access.  If your a/c is in £ then it will only show pounds balance, and will need to calculate it into dollars via a currency converter or something.

For those of you completely new to Betfair, it does take a while to get used to their software but I found once I did I really liked it.

to find your balance in £"s & $"s open a cash table and click on an empty seat, and within the new window the available to bet balance is displayed. It will show in US Dollars and your own account currency.

Hi all
just in case anybody out there who has an old betfair account and cant rememeber password or who has changed email address since playing...after phoning customer services I found you have to log in using your old email address and answer the security questions this then takes you to a new page to enter new password.. then your away

thouhgt this might save having to listen to mull of kintyre whilst waiting for a customer services rep  ... gl at the tables
