Yes Mike.......its a place where bingo players meet and you find the occasional poker player on there, although they find life very hard as nobody can fold an ace and two picture cards look pretty !
Mind you, the satellites are the easiest to get through on any site IMO.

Got to agree. The sats are relatively easy to qualify from( I qualified for the SPT Glasgow at the first attempt !! Bonamassa), 6 max and 1 in 5 qualify. The entry fees are reasonable and the starting chips normally 2000 - 3000.
I have not been at the cash tables, but if the scheduled tables are the standard, then soft is the word.
But hey, you already know that Boing, having TD the Bounty Hunter, lol.
The trouble with having an open mind, is that, someone will come along and insist on putting something in it

Have they already filled the SPT Luton? Seems strange they are qualifying 2 ahead otherwise.

Is there any way to direct buy into a Sky Poker event (specifically Glasgow) without satelliting in? Would love to play a good live game on home soil but know if I try sat in i"ll end up wasting about £50 and no getting a seat or something :D

Have to agree, the satellites are easy. Have been playing the 15k gurantee every Sunday and have have cashed 2 weeks in row. And most tourneys are 6 max so it"s good if your an agressive player.

Online satellites or one 5 seat live satellite only

The Luton one is this Saturday at 5.30pm

The Glasgow one will be roughly a fortnight before the event

You could just sell me one direct then *nudge, nudge, wink, wink* ;)

lol, I"m assuming the 5 seat live satellite will be at the Alea a fortnight before the event?
If so, how much will the buy in be for this satellite?

I might give the online satellites a go but just know i"m gna fail miserably.

So far the live sats have been £10 or £20 rebuys

Up to the venue what they want to do to sell the five seats

Try the online sats would be my advice. Winnable within a few attempts for almost everyone. Even you!

hi

Yeah each night until the 120 seats are taken m8.

43 seats already gone but plenty left.

I won my seat last Monday, i just went right for the £24 buy in semi final game at half 9 where 1 in 5 won there seat.

The sats were not up last week tho but i can see tonight there are £5.20 sats at hof 4, 5, 6 & 7 the nite where 1 in 5 will go into the £24 semi final at hof 9.  In my opinion it"s prob best going right for the semi final game and paying the 24 quid man.

Hope this helps & gl :)

p.s I joined the Glasgow Poker Club last night tae play in the league games starting in March  :)
