APAT Magazine - Launch Issue
« on: February 28, 2010, 22:54:51 PM »

Here is the lauch issue of APAT Magazine, which will be distributed electronically every quarter.

We"re soft launching the issue here before emailing to the entire database next week.  We"d very much welcome your thoughts and feedback prior to doing that.

Thanks to Richard and Leigh for writing a number of articles in this issue.  Also, thanks to Barry Carter of PokerNews; who APAT are partnering with for the provision of content for "Poker Circuit", our general poker news section.

If any of you would like to contribute to APAT Magazine going forward, please let me know.

Regards,

Des.

very very good, although let down by the front page pic  :)

shame this is just electronic, I think it would be an excellent mag to be found in the card rooms.

This would be a fine addition to the magazines we offer in the fortune rooms (N.Ireland), would get even more fab players interested in the APAT games.

It"s all readable but some people might find some of the fonts in the side boxes a bit small - EDIT: scrub that, just found out how to adjust it, so that just leaves the choice of photo"s problem

Apart from that the only problem was too many images of Leigh and too many of Kinboshi

Excellent!!! Good quality and good content. Do you intent to add tips to page 3?

It did give rise to one question though. The section about the online league says top 9 players score points, but the link takes you to a page that say top 10 players.

Can you clarify please.

It"s 9, as that is Betfair"s standard table setup.  Will get it changed. ty

Well, it"s certainly one for the PUN-ters ("we"re Dublin your excitement"!!!). As a former magazine chief editor I just want to compliment all involved in the production of this e-magazine because that"s a shed-load of work. Haven"t read the articles in full yet, but layout and coverage merit lots of brownie points. Pix stunning. Well done APAT journos & layout peeps. An ace debut issue!
