Had Q-Q under the gun.
Blinds were at $2000/$4000.
I limp in with $4,000.
(PERSON A) An average stack in late position raises to $12,000.
Action back to Small Blind who folds, Then to big blind (PERSON B) who is chip lead with nearly 200k, he over bets something stupid like $60k. I decide to get out the way because we are only 3 exits away from the bubble.
(PERSON A) Instant calls with suited A-K and (PERSON B) Pocket 7"s.
Most gutting of all was the flop came down 2-Q-Q
What was the best way to play this hand? Should i have shoved UTG? Or was i right to be greedy and wait for the bubble so that i could loosen up my play and cash?
I couldn"t put a hand on (PERSON A) but i put (PERSON B) either A-A K-K or A-K. (Shows how wells i can read hands)
But still i"d have been devastated seeing an ace or king pair up on the board. Playing for 5 hours and not cashing doesn"t seem a whole lot of fun to me.
