I managed to spin up 20 bucks on stars to about 850 at its peak playing .25/.50 cash and 90/180 man SNGS.
Problem is I"ve decimated it down to 450 ish because i"ve been using it to play the £82 UKIPT qualifiers on stars.
Pretty demoralising when that happens!

If I double my stack at any point, even 1st hand I leave on my next button.

Why?

The double up may give you an edge or may be as the result of having an edge. Is it not best to stick around and win even more?

The main premise to leaving after a double up is a good policy advocated by chris ferguson. Buying in a 5% of your bankroll and doubleing up is effectively adding another 5% to your own bankroll. He recommends that if your cash on the table is 10% or more to your bankroll then that"s a good portion to add to your stack!

They think 2nd pair on a 2 suit board must be the nuts and with no redraw they"re happy to get it all in. One example from last night was the bb flatted my button raise when I flopped nut straight and nut flush draw, He bet, I raised he called. Board was 9 10 k with 2 spades. I had jack queen ace 10 with 2 spades one the ace. Turn is an ace given me a straight. He checks, I bet he calls. I now put him on a set or 2 pair and as long as the board doesn"t pair I"m getting all his chips. Board is another ace and he shoves the last 400 chips (I have about 8k left) and I hate to fold even though I know I"m behind I call as pot is now over 2k and I want to see what he played. I dont mind the pre flop call but he called the flop of ace 9 6 5 all clubs. This the kind of game to expect in this tourney.
