Have to admit I missed the FT last night as I was feeling a bit tired after walking around Crufts all day and opted for an early night. (bad captain)

Woke up this morning to find two league points next to South Londons name thanks to a fantastic first place by Savak (DarkDyson). Well done that man! Also a great effort from Paul (Jim5432) who finished 11th. All in all another top night for SL in terms of turnout (19) and our first league points of the season.

Will post all the finishing positions later. (soon)

Cheers! I went into the FT as one of the shorter stacks but played it tight for a while as the other short stacks went busto and then stepped it up a gear to give myself a chance of winning it. Busted about 4 or 5 of the final table I think but got real lucky when holding Doyle"s hand 10, 2 off and caught a 10 to double up against A, Q!

Come on SL!!!! Lets dominate this season!!!

Very well played DarkDyson, excellent points for the South London team.
Baldrick, we're in a very sticky situation, we're in the stickiest situation since stickty the stick insect got stuck on a sticky bun

Hi Paul. Only the top three teams on the night score points. 1st 3 pts - 2nd 2 pts - 3rd 1 pt. The top teams are calculated be adding individual points scored by the top nine players. 1st 9 pts -- 2nd 8 pts etc etc....

Savak was the only SL player to make the final table (9 players), while other teams had two players and therefore scored more points than us. This is why its so important to reach the FT. If two teams have the same amount of points then the team with the most Final Tablers is placed highest.

Hope that helps a little

blimey....I never realised it was so complicated....and that so much time and effort was required to pick up a couple of points! Not sure I really think its worth the hassle to be honest
