Questions re Betfair market on Live events
« on: March 16, 2010, 10:41:38 AM »

Does anyone know if Betfair plans to run a market for betting on the APAT live events? - I remember this was quite popular for the forum event when BlueSq did it.

Betfair is not a bookmaker so the answer is "No". However, without doing a lot of research, I believe that you can create your own market..or something.

Not sure if you can create your own, but yes I was referring to a market, not a book.

Would be an excellent idea.  Speak to Blatch if you have no joy - I"m sure he"d be able to assist!

Betfair have been known to create markets for events such as this and probably would given notice seeing as they are sponsoring event.

However its doubtful you could get anything matched as layers wont know much about the field.

I may however take the odd bet if people are keen

Even money each of them?

Ummmmm done a little research and drawn a complete blank.

I really dont want anyone taking offence or think im insulting anyone but ill offer....

Craig @ 40/1
Michelle @ 50/1
Carl @ 33/1

Or ill offer 10/1 that any of the three win.

For anyone else interested send up names and ill quote a price.  My only rules for bets are: -

Money has to be given to me cash on the day before the start otherwise bets dont count.  (I could take site transfers if people want).

Whoevers takes the trophy will be declared winner if any split or deal is done on final table.
