Are we going back to 40 minutes, or is this a typo?

If you define "cheap", we can have a look.

I know that the Travelodge at Euston is aroubd £90 for that Saturday night which is pretty standard for that area.

There might be some B&B type places but I haven"t looked.

Ideally you"ll want somewhere within reasonable walking distance as the tubes/buses after 11pm are, at best, infrequent and often non-existent.

Some other sites:

Laterooms.com
Booking.com

also lastminute.com

but also once you"ve checked those sites check the hotels own websites as sometimes one of those sites has a cheap offer - but not as cheap as an offer the hotel themselves are offering (i.e. just because the hotels cheap don"t assume you can"t get it cheaper)

I"ve found at least 5 different room prices for the same hotel on some occasions

If you do a search at Booking.com or Laterooms.com for London, Marylebone it narrows the range nicely

Laterooms also has nice option to search local to Tube stations...the closest one to the Vic is Edgware Road.

Londontown.com have an interesting but confusing offer...basically if you book through them then find the exact same deal cheaper somewhere else and can prove it, they give you £100. Yes, even if it is a 30p difference, Londontown.com give you £100. Might be worth having a look.

Cheap hotels...look at the "Sussex Gardens" area. Also, it might be worth hitting Google Street View and checking areas around the casino for hotel names, then use the net for details on them.

Cheap rail tickets...first point; check out advance tickets. After this, try breaking your journey and buying day singles there.

Coaches: Try the Megabus.

Basically, you are OK for now. I"m not sure about an email from APAT although you may receive one from Betfair.

All relevant information will be found here in the thread as we get  nearer the date but the Player Briefing may not be posted until very close to the date.

Was there anything specific you wanted to ask about?

Don"t know how much it would cost for a single room but have booked a room for 4 at the Marriott in kilburn, not far away from the casino by tube for 135.00 a night ( buy 2 and get the 3rd free ) so me and the family are having a weekend away for 270.00 , does not include breakfast but what the hell, I get to play poker and they get to see the sights LOL ;D also got return tickets from wrexham for 115.00 for the four of us, well pleased ;D ;D
