Thanks to APAT and the Players at London Vic

Hey.

This is Perry Garland (if you didn"t guess from the username)

I just wanted to say thanks to all the APAT staff and the players I met throughout the two days. This was my first 2-Day Tournament. I have been playing for about 5 years but only in small home games and the occasional small casino tournament, so from sitting down to play it certainly was a  step-up.

John, congrats man, I didn"t realise until Day 2 you were in Team APAT (should of seen the photo on the forum before). In my view, the best player won the tournament.

Unlucky Alan for not locking it up at the end, I really thought you had it. I get the LAG game you were playing, I don"t know if you have the same reasons, but I see why it works, though I don"t know if I can go that crazy lol.

To the rest of the finalists, well done guys, unlucky not to make it at the end and thanks for coming up afterward, I was gutted when I was knocked out but you guys helped that to go.

To Andy Overton, shame I didn"t take the final table bet, good thing I didn"t take the Top 3 bet lol.

To Paul McGuinness, thanks for coming up and chatting while you playing the Razz MTT. Didn"t realise who you were because you apologized for doing something but couldn"t figure out what it was, then realized you were the guy I got really lucky against. I know I said before, but I was the one who needed to apologize lol

I have never played in a game with so many highs and lows before, but loved every minute of it. Don"t know when I can play again, but will certainly look towards doing so, hopefully with a better game.

Cheers all,
Perrygarl.

Congrats on the final table. Apologies for berating you. Just jealous i never get so lucky.  ;)

Let me know when you"re playing the next one and we can have a last longer bet!

Hey Andy, cheers for the reply.

No problems mate, I got no worries about it. Well done for getting deep, you didn"t seem to be getting a lot of opportunities to double up when you needed them, but you nursed the short stack well, it"s something I have to learn to do.

And believe me, I did not want to make that AT call when you 4-bet shoved lol. I can"t remember the exact numbers, but the real short-stack shoved for just over 1000 more than my bet, and his stack sweetened the pot which meant if you had KK, I had the odds. Plus, since he was really short-stacked, and I was a LAG-Tard, his range was going to be pretty wide. And yes the QJ was super-lucky, thought he was raising me too much, picked the wrong spot lol, stupid reads.

You were one of two players, that if they raised, my first thought was generally "Bullocks" lol. But yeah, definitely, if I play another tournament and you"re there, let me know if you"re doing any last-longers, I"ll be happy to donate money to your cause lol.
