Sigh!

There has been some very strange play in this tourney.

Seat 1 raises to 600 @ 100/200 (I am in seat 3) Seat 4 reraises to 2k. Seat 1 re-pops to 3100. So seat 4 has to call 1100 more and has over 6k behind (avg is 5.5) He tanks for 2 mins and calls and shows KK..... WTF.

Oppo had AQ and rivered but that"s by the by

my curry has arrived. More to follow

Sorry guys the "sigh" was to indicate I was already out but said curry arrived before I played a loooooooong SnG*

I had managed to double up 1st after the break but got short again when the following happened thus backing up my earlier point.

UTG limps and everyone folds to me in SB and I complete with K 10 (we are at 100/200a25). BB checks. Flop is KQx. The limper has limped a lot and stabbed at any pots checked to him so I check BB checks and sure enough he fires 500 into a pot of 800 - I duly throw in my last2100 at which point the limper tanks for a good minute (JP likes this) Eventually he makes the call and I flip over my K 10 with confidence and the limpy tanky fishy caller shows.... AK. WTF!

However unorthodox it is I do not have a problem with the limp and obviously no with the lead and the call but what on earth is he tanking 4. Gg nh ty.

Fair play to Poker Player for putting this on. Ironically had more fun after I was out with SnGs etc.

*2nd place for £20 profit. £14.20 Train ticket. £5 Parking. I"m 80p up. As the great G Smith once said "a profit"s a profit"

Just got back home myself.

Arrived late due to train issues, and a clash with the missus hair appointment, meaning my inital train was scrapped leaving with the slow version!

Enjoyed the event, if not very quite on the tables.

nothing of note really, other than a good lay down at 100/200.  I have QJ. folded to me, i raise to 450.  SB calls.

Flop Q53  I make it 950 , he repops for another 3k.

I tank put him on kk, aa, or a better q kicker....if he has a set he"d just call.

Folded, and he shows aa.

exit was 22 vs QJ, q on flop.. goodnight.

Pleased i qualified for it in the first place after 10 freerolls,  that was the achievement I think.

Wore my APAT t-shirt with pride allthesame!

I won a freeroll to qualify and then my brother goes and gets married on the same day! It was a great day, but still gutted to miss the PPGP final. He could have got married next Saturday. What"s wrong with 11th September as an anniversary?

Poker Player this month....Page 66/67 report.  Moi in red APAt shirt.  Can"t really see the logo well, but advertising is advertising!

Player to my left, knocked me out, and went on to win it.
