Are the players who play in team event will have an option to buy in direct to main event like last year in Luton? Or we should buy now at Betfair?

many thanks for any info.

All players that are chosen to play in the team event will be able to buyin for the main event.  Those seats have been held back, so no need to buyin using the holding tanks.

Just found the old email address - thanks for the nod guys.

I have let Betfair know that I wish to take part in Day 1B.
I will unregister myself from Day 1a and the 6 max seat.

This will happen soon (about 5 mins)!!

Regards,

Dave

Interesting to read all the fuss about the late announcement of the buy-ins on this thread. I was away too and totally missed them, but unlike last year it seems that these events do not fill up within 5 mins anymore. I managed to register fairly easy yesterday. No panic, although I did get the fear a little when I saw that I missed the "clickfest" (is that the right word anymore?). I remember the panic at 9.05pm this time last year when the buy-in system took time to work. Registering through Betfair is much easier than last year"s system.

Thanks to the APAT team, again!

ALL GOOD WITH BETFAIR

GOT IN STUD, OMAHA, SIX MAX AND HORSE NO PROBS.

JUST A SHAME COULDN"TGET INTO HEADS UP GAME.

IF THEY COULDA DONE 64 PLAYERS THEY ONLY NEED 32 TABLES WHICH DTD CAN ACCOMODATE. WITH DEALERS AT EACH END.

HEADS UP FILLED UP FASTER THAN MICHAEL BUBLE CONCERT TICKETS!!! ::)

GOOD JOB ON THE WHOLE APAT

Any idea at this stage of structure for the 6-max and PLO events?  Not necessarily full structure, but just level duration and starting stack/1st blind level.

Cheers

Glad you got most of the seats you were after.  The issue with making the Heads Up 64 runners is that it clashes with the first day of the World Team Event also (64 players).  Although DTD could accomodate tables and dealers for this (and they are probably one of the few that could), once the first round of Heads Up is complete, there is a significant reduction in staffing needed until later in the evening.

Tough to manage it right, but we think we have the balance about right.  (Although the demand may suggest otherwise  ;D )

Can"t confirm for definite yet, but last years WCOAP PLO was 10k starting stack with 30 mins blind levels.

I would suggest this years 6-max and PLO would be a similar structure.

As far as I know, it would be YOUR responsibility to find a buyer for the HORSE seat although I do not think that you will find it hard to find one.

Double the entries by playing half of the first round games followed by the other half?

Half the starting stacks for the first round of games and you may get a deal.   ;)

Ok, I realise this may be a stupid question, even for a newbie, but I assume the main event is just NLHE?
