With 200 runners there will be 2,000,000 chips in play and with 40 runners left the average stack will be 50,000 so at 2000/4000 probably a bit less play.

You"re not quite with me...

There aren"t 200 runners in total..there are over 400 (I think nearer 450 in fact..assuming a sell out). Assume 40 (in total) come back for day 2...then it"s a simple calculation to see that there is only 1/10 of the field left so the average would be 10x the starting stack...i.e. 100,000.

As above all the seats for DTD worlds are sold out , only option is the seat exchange if you are lucky
As to buying more than one seat, can"t be done only one ticket per game per player , If a friend wants too try tell them to register  ( it"s free )

You can only buy-in by downloading the Betfair poker sofware and registering for the Tournaments there. Yes, they are live events but the buy-ins are handled this way.

At present, not all of the events are showing up (at least the last time I checked).

Also, the current allocation of Main Event seats are sold out but it is expected that some more (number unknown) will become available shortly. I am expecting these to be sold the same way but this hasn"t been confirmed as yet.

Your final option is to see if anyone is selling a seat on the APAT Seat Exchange or post a new thread there asking to see if anyone will sell you one.

Am I right in assuming that players in the Team Event will be offered seats? I have mine already but I have some team members flying in from Canada and I dont think they have bought in  yet.

Correct, seats have been reserved for them.

Could be a stupid que...but theoretically if you already have a seat but get picked for the team event (Im assuming there are seats left over for these people), could you sell the ME seat on seat exchange to someone who needs one, and then buy-in with team event slot.  Just thinking it could free up a seat for seat-exchange people.

Not a stupid question, but there is a much simpler solution.

If you are selected for the team event and already have bought a seat, then we will just have one extra seat when we release the leftovers nearer the event.

final table has holecams, but they haven"t been used for any live feeds for obvious reasons.

if anyone caught tv coverage of English Open for example, you can see that they were used for edited coverage afterwards

They used special cards for the UKIPT event at DTD I believe.  They could be "read" by the camera and so the hands could be reported accurately and quickly. 

...and yes, those windows are a right pain on the final table
