Matchday 8 - 13/06/10 - Luton Poker Club
« on: June 09, 2010, 19:34:16 PM »
Things are getting interesting.............

This Sunday 8pm.   We could make big moves in getting promoted this week.  2points from last week, and with 5 final tablers, we are certainly all bringing our "A" game.

Keep it up and promotion is ours...and right on the heels for the Title.  It"s Sunderland that need catching, so some good team play in the mix to close that gap is in order.

Good luck all.

The Club competition is hotting up too as a side event.

See you on Sunday.

Wasnt panicing at all, but it was very quite.....12.11pm, total of 11 regged and we have 8 of them...

Got to make it count though, Sunderland proved last week with only 3 regged but all 2 made FT, and they took the 3points....Any chance of a title we need to beat them this week.

Bring it on..

I am in skip, just back from winning my singles golf match, had to give the opponent 9 shots, was 4 up after 9, then got pegged back to all square but finally broke free on the 17th and won on the 18th.  So I am nicely in the mood for some cards, havent played all week.

Well done to those in the points tonight - it looks like tonight was the night we secured promotion but lost a chance at the title but you can"t argue with a 1, 2, 3 from the mackems.

Still Division 2 here we come  :)

Delighted to finally contribute something to the team tally. Amazing the amount of "limping" when we got down to the last four. Anyone would think three came from the same team  ;D

Can"t make next time as I"ll be getting wet in a field in Somerset, but hopefully we"ll get what we need to get promoted.

You played well all night...and it is almost impossible to play when against 3 from other team...lots of bona fide team play and to be expected...I had the same MD7 when up against 2 of them in last 3...they played me very well!

Enjoy the wet field!...see you Matchday 10 for our celebration game!!??!   ;D

Keep up the railing Waz, makes the night more entertaining and if you have said anything to anyone else and they have taken it the wrong way then more fool them.  Could have gone bonkers when fandagos hit a straight on the river against my QQ as would have shot me upto 2nd or 3rd place for FT but thats poker and took it on my double chin.

Pleased i made the FT again and hope one match i can actually last till the final 3 !

3 FT"S in 8 is excellant mate, and an average of 17.5.....and 2 FT on the trot clearly in form for the run-in!
