Good 6-7 hours from Chester....8-9 hours from Watford.

Seriously...train is the way to go.

Sounds good but then factor in travel to the airport, 1 hour check-in. travel from the airport. Not much change out of 4 hours I reckon.

My house to Manchester - 35 mins
Airport waiting time -- 5 pints ( 1 hour ish)
Flight - 1 hour 10 mins
Airport to hotel -- 30 mins

I"ll take that  

Oh Feck I forgot to factor in that Ironside is picking me up from aberdeen Airport - FML make that 10 pints in Manchester
