2.30 King Torus - can Hannon take this race for the third year running? took 5"s with bet365
3.05 Barshiba [ew] - took 33"s with laddies
3.50 Society Rock - the last two winners of this race - Art Connoisseur and Kingsgate Native were 3yo"s , Rock fits the same sort of profile and Fanshawe is adept with sprinters , so worth a punt imho :) took 41"s on betfair... Gosdens 3yo looks the part but the value has gone...
4.25 Rileyskeepingfaith , Noverre To Go [gone for 2 , both drawn high , took 25"s and 16"s respectively
5.00 Submariner
5.35 Aajel , Swingkeel [liked them both so i"ve backed 2 :) took 8"s on both with laddies]

glgl all , mtfbwy

lol, needed to do the homework early with the England shambles last night and a very early flight to Aberdeen this morning.  Although judging by this weeks results I would be better off using a pin...

:) when he drifted i had a ew saver lol shame drawn 13 as he lost 3+ lengths at the start tacking across , finished well catching up with Starspangledbanner who had a straight forward run from his low draw .. Of course Aidan gives us the guff of how quick his boy is but imho Society Rocks is the one who"d won if drawn lower.. Hopefully punters will latch onto Starspangledbanner for the July Cup and still leave a nice price on Society Rocks..Hopefully Fanshawe will repeat Frizzante"s win in the July Cup back in 04 with SR"s this year..

I ended up sticking a few on it after the missus said "what is that lovely grey horse with the purple top called?" I told her the name and her reply was, "are you mad?, go large Swinebag!!"

32 points profit for ascot , not to bad , keeps the bankroll healthy ,  onwards to the july meeting and Goodwood..

Rileyskeepingfaith and Noverre To Go finished 2nd and 3rd on there side behind Genki in the wokingham , so 2 to look out for at nice prices for the stewards cup imho..

This was just as profitable for me as cheltenham, but far less stressful.

I have decided that a little knowledge (like I have over the jumps) is much more dangerous than no knowledge (like me and flat racing)

some cracking races this week with some great finishes, and like noble (and leigh) am looking forward to Goodwood.

Is the July meeting at Newmarket??
